Antrim 1794, Ensign 65th. 1813, served 1814-15 in the Scindiah’s in Guzerat, and in Kathiawar and Kutch from 1815-16, when present at the taking of Juria, Bunda, Anjar, Dwarka, Kuncote, and Dingee; and in the Deccan 1816-19. Served throughout the Mahratta campaign being present at the capture of Poonah, 16 March 1817. Served in the Kutch, Feb-Mar 1819, and the Persian Gulf 1819-1820 being present at the capture of the Ras-al-Khyma and Zyah forts. Served on the coast of Arabia 1821, action of Ben Boo Ali, 2 March, when the tribe of the Wahbee Arabs was annihilated, and on which occasion Lieut. Cuppage was wounded.
