David Pringle, Originally an HEIC Cadet but commissioned to the 42nd. His twin brother Ensign G.S. Pringle was murdered at Allahabad 6 June, 1857
Died 1/2/1874, buried Melrose Abbey, Scottish Borders where a plaque commemorates Captain Pringle and his five brothers.
