James Berry, 16th Light Dragoons
Also served Bhurtpore with the regiment (by then the 16th Lancers) and discharged in consequence of a sabre wound received there. He did not survive to claim a medal.
He was born in Manchester and attested in 1812 aged 15 and a spinner. He served at Waterloo with Captain Swetenham's Troop. he was discharged in consequence of being lame from a wound in service
