Benjamin Atha, 1st Reg. Dragoon Guards
Original lip and split ring suspension,
Benjamin Atha was born in Holbeck, Yorkshire. Enl. December 1810, and was wounded in the knee whilst serving as part of the Household Brigade at Waterloo. He was discharged as medically unfit, 14 December 1816, 'leg rendered quite useless, Died September 1831.
A fine Household Brigade medal. Suffered over 50% casualties during their numerous charges in the battle
