Charloes Cockrell/Cockerell, of Walberton, Arundel, Sussex, enl. 1804, disch.1819 due to reduction and a wound of the neck received at Benevente. Whilst his service papers do not detail his wounds at Waterloo, the musters for June, July and August all record him as ‘hospital, wounded’
The scarcest of casualties being 70 wounded at Benevente. THE 7th commenced the Waterloo some 380 strong and sustained some 80 killed and missing plus 120 wounded.
