One of the ‘Forlorn Hope’ at Cuidad Rodrigo. Of the nine volunteers , of the 95th. (all NCO’s) 2 were killed , and five wounded. Later wounded in the Pyrenees. Entitled to a 7 clasp MGS. The only one of the ‘Forlorn’ to survive to claim.

Disch. 1816. A late pension claimant, 1851 , described as a resident of Keighly, Yorks, a Weaver by trade, show as wounded great toe of right foot, and ankle joint, in the Pyrenees. Died, December, 1855
